公共安全人员配备

The department is staffed with a chief of public safety, captain, and security officers. Officers provide campus coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.  公共安全 is located on the ground level at the rear of Main Hall.

Each member of the department contributes with their area of expertise to complete a well-rounded team.  公共安全 reports to the Office of Administration.

公共安全 works within the learning environment by offering specialized training programs for the Salem 社区 through topics such as: drug and alcohol awareness, sexual assault and relationship violence prevention, 个人安全, 预防犯罪, 以及其他要求的程序.

To ensure safety in the residence halls, each year 公共安全 trains campus residents and staff on 预防犯罪 and fire response protocols.
